Hey everyone. I am a returning EQ2 player, and what confuses me everytime is, well basically how I am supposed to get my game back again, e.g. the actualy EQ2 client. Usually I would just download trial client etc. and use my subscribed for account... But this doesn't fell official at all, and what is the way of getting my client back everytime I have un-installed it (properly get it back)?

Sorry, but this just always confused me, and gets me all in a big pickle, so if someone can elaborate whether I just install of my old disc I have or not.. etc.. thanks...

And one more thing, I can't find any of my old characters, so I just made a new one, then I find out you have to change to the EU EULA or whatever, but now I don't have my newly created character, but all my old ones... Anyone know how I can get those back, to being able to be played along side my runnyeye characters?

Thanks again...

Greetings,

You could install the game from the discs and that would work fine. We also have 2 different online installers available. I have included links to both of those programs below:

Station Launcher: http://launcher.station.sony.com/

Everquest 2 Launchpad: http://everquest2.com/install

If you have characters on both the EU and US servers then you can switch between them using the region select option. If you have plenty of space on your hard drive then you could even copy your Everquest 2 folder so that you have 2 copies of the game on your hard drive. You could then set one to run the US client and the other to run the EU client.

If you want to play all of those characters on the same server then the only real option is the character transfer service. Please keep in mind that the transfer service has a charge of $50 per character.

Ahh, I see. Thank you very much, but then why would one buy the game discs? Is it for the exspansions and adventure packs, etc.??

You can get up to the Rise of Kunark using the trial client, but you will need to purchase the Shadow Odyssey to gain access to the most recent content.
