Trying to setup AA mirror

<p>I was following the steps listed here:  <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Mirror_of_Reflected_Achievements" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Mirror_of...ed_Achievements</a></p><p>But when I saved the "zero" profile (1 point spent) to the mirror, it reset my current AA's back to what they were before I did the respec.</p><p>Has anyone seen this or will I just need to do another respec ( I really don't want my current spec to be either of my profiles).</p><p>Thanx</p>

<p>What's so confusing about the mirror is that it does a <strong>Save </strong>and a <strong>Load </strong>simultaneously.At the same time you are <strong>Saving </strong>your AA setup from your character to the mirror, it is <strong>Loading </strong>what's on the mirror to your AA setup on your chaaracter. Really, the option on the mirror should be labeled "Swap AA Profile Between Character and Mirror?".</p><p>The only time this works differently is the FIRST time you use the mirror. Then it just <strong>Copies </strong>your AA setup from your character to the mirror. Why does it do this? Because the alternative -- clearing out your AA setup on your character when you <strong>Save </strong>the first time-- would give you a FREE respec instead of the 1g/10g/1p/10p they have been fleecing us for. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Those instructions on eq2 wikia sound convuluted. Much simpler instructions:</p><ul><li>Set up your ideal GROUP AA configuration</li><li>SAVE to the Mirror</li><li>RESPEC</li><li>Set up your ideal SOLO AA configuration</li><li>SWAP to/from the Mirror as needed</li></ul><p>Depending on class, you might have:</p><ul><li>Solo vs. Group</li><li>Solo vs. Group/Raid</li><li>Solo/Group vs. Raid</li></ul><p>Unfortunately it is not possible to have more than 1 AA mirror. There is no technical limitation to why this can't be done. It was intentionally taken out to "avoid confusion" and because it was "not intended".</p>

<p>What happens as you gain AAs?  Does it update the information as you swap profiles?</p>

And yes it really is more of a "swapping" action.</p>

Whether you believe them or not, there was a clearly stated technical reason they changed it.</p>
