download keeps canceling itself

<p>why in the crap when i open the launchpad and all that i sign in and then says updating which is fine but after it scans the files it  cancels and under it is the option to download again then it cancels itself again and i cant get into the game i was just playing last night is it something i dont kno cuz i havent played in like a year since last night</p><p>i really appreciate any suggestions thanks</p>

<p>You never said what Operating System version you were running but this sounds like the common problem with Windows Vista. If you are running Vista try this:</p><p>Right Click on the shortcut and select properties from the menu</p><p>Click on the Compatibility tab</p><p>Find the option "Run this program as an administrator" and check that box</p><p>Click Apply then Ok and try again</p><p>Even if you are on admin account Vista UAC causes trouble with the launcher/patcher</p>

Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. In the "Compatibility Mode" area check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"5. In the drop down list make certain that "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" is selected.6.
