monk vs bruiser pvp

<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: 16px;"><div><p>I just rolled a monk on PVP server and am curious which has the edge in PVP, im building this char as an alt focusing mostly on PVP but still would like to be useful in PVE</p><p>pros and cons of monk vs bruiser?</p></div></span></p>

<p>T-1 through T-7 Monk owns. T-8 Bruiser is much better due to the TSO AA and bigger burst DMG output.</p>

<p>The bruiser is better for pvp for a bunch of reasons.  One, closed mind will give you immunity to everything but charm and snare.  Two, stone deaf will block 3 large nukes.  Three, drag with sonic fist gives you another way to close in on enemies at a distance.  Four, you will have better burst damage with knockout combo and chi and five, the one upside of the Monk, tsunami, can be achieved with the bruiser epic.  Thats not to say the monk is without it's merits, in longer fights a monks dps is steadier and their epic combined with the purifier will cut through scouts using parry belt and casters using manashields.</p><p>~Raithan   </p>
