On certain fights I run out of power.

I am a solo bruiser and do not have access to the gear those who group/raid do. I do have money and can purchase anything I need on the broker.

That said, can anyone give me some advice on items you would acquire if you were in my position to help with power issues.

I am trying to max melee crit and get as high on Str as I can-is there anything to complement these two goals and give me more power, or do I need to sacrifice a little to gain a little?

Thanks!

Hey mate, it would help if you tell us what you are wearing now, Armor and Jewlrey. Is it MC/Leg/Fabled? That type of stuff. CA's AD1/3/MAster? What level are you?

On solo fights it seems weird you would have power issues. I did once, but with fighter gear the problem ended. So let us know more.

What Pnaxx said; it's difficult to give advice without knowing more.

Other than that, power drain adornments for your weapons are a great way to keep your power up, especially if you don't group with Enchanters or Bards very often. Putting a Smoldering Phantom Handle on each of your weapons (if you're 70+) will help alleviate power problems you may have.

If power is an issue and money is no object, I'd suggest that you try to buy out the RE2 blue shinney collection. (Standard of .....) Brawlers, Crusaders, and Scouts get an option for an earring / ring slot item with a very nice mana proc. When it proces, it's sort of like using a shard / heart. Just be warned that buying out the whole thing on LDL (pre-TSO) cost me around 80 Plat. But it was more than worth it.

Otherwise Phantom Handles are another good way to go. Or make sure that you've finished the old Manastone HQ for a little bit of extra power.

Agree with the RE2 rare collection, its an awesome item for power indeed..

http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/item/1482634583

Here is the link for it..

Other than that... The Phantom Handle (Adornments) can be put on both you main hand and offhand, and will proc on both as well..

With those 3 items power should bever be an issue again

But again, power shouldn't be an issue in solo fights anyway.

Power tap handles for me = almost never out of power in groups or solo. And for soloing even I think the power handles are better since my self heal always comes back before I need it.
