I use Station Launcher Version: 1.0.7 Build: release-723220

Every day i log on it download something that takes 30-60 min on my 10mbit line. But when i log on with my laptop thats in the same network it takes 1-10 sec no patching same launcher, same game (copyed from the other puter)

Is it a file that is downloading over and over ? both launchers are setup the same way no optinal download etc

This is happening to me too. Every time I log into Station and select EQ2 I get at least an hour Update. It seems to get 15 minutes longer every time. Yesterday before the patch it was 1 hour. When I logged on after the patch (about an hour after the servers shutdown) it was an hour and a quarter, today it's an hour and a half. My hubby, on the second box in the same room on the same connection, had about 5 minute's worth. Any ideas about what to do to fix this?

You might want to try deleting and reinstalling the patcher on the effected machine. You wont need to delete the game itself, just the launcher. Let me know if that resolves the issue.

I am having the exact same problem. I have reinstalled the patcher, completely deleting the folder. This is a severe problem that started a couple days ago now.

LoN files possibly? Let's make sure something in the Sony directory isn't set to read-only, blocking the updates:

1. Navigate to the Sony folder (Default: C:Program FilesSony)2. Right click the 'Sony' folder and select 'properties'3. Go to the 'General' tab4. Uncheck the box that says 'read-only' at the bottom of that window5. Select 'apply to all files/folders' when prompted

I've been having the same problem every day for the past three days. Running Everquest2.exe from the main folder bypasses the patcher and lets it run, but it's not a long time fix.

Yes, this problem seems to have somethign to do with station launcher, as if I use the regular eq updater it works, but I really want to know why station launcher is suddenly having this problem. It's been working great for many months, but suddenly this is happening.

Hey can you guys check the dir SonyStationStation LauncherLaunchPad2 and the .log files.

Mine says its download all the music files every time.....

eks.

09-02-17 10:14:58 Romance Standard Time [2872] INFO HttpGetter - Getting 'http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com:7000/patch/lp2/eq2/europe/patch0/en_GB-main/music/eq2theme.mp3'. 09-02-17 10:15:06 Romance Standard Time [1584] INFO HttpGetter - Getting 'http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com:7000/patch/lp2/eq2/europe/patch0/en_GB-main/music/Isle_Refuge_Beach.mp3'.

Exactly every day my computer patches all the music zones like this

i09-02-17 16:44:03 Pacific Standard Time [3648] INFO HttpGetter - Getting 'http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com:7000/patch/lp2/eq2/en/patch1/en-main/music/eq2theme.mp3'. 09-02-17 16:44:11 Pacific Standard Time [3864] INFO HttpGetter - Getting 'http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com:7000/patch/lp2/eq2/en/patch1/en-main/music/Isle_Refuge_Beach.mp3'. just looked

I've got the same problem. Since Erollisi Day ended I can't use the Station Launcher anymore to play Everquest 2. Everytime I start it it wants to patch for 30 to 45 minutes. And most of the times the patcher hangs itself up just beore it finishes. And if you cancel and let it patch again it will take 30 to 45 minutes again.

Yesterday it took me 4 hours to get into EQ2... and today I gave up after 1 hour.

I've now gone back to the old EQ2.exe patcher. And now I can play again.

Hope they fix the Station Launcher since I prefer it over the old launcher/patcher.

Greetings,

It looks like they corrected this issue over the weekend. I have been keeping track of the issue in the following thread:

http://forums.station.sony.com/stat..._id=11500012878
