The 4 set bonus for the Raid version of the void set of armor for paladins is completely unacceptable. Do the Dev's really not understand how an MT or OT is usually buffed for a Raid? Let me clue you in, for starters, there is usually an avoidance check on the MT or OT from another tank.

Now, based on the changes that you are making to the Paladin, we have become single target tanks like Guardians. That means in order for us to find a place in raids, we MUST be able to tank and take a similar amount of damage in comparison to our Guardian counterparts. Yet you give us a set bonus that relegates us to what? avoidance checks with terrible dps? Since obviously we'll need to be in defensive in order to up our avoidance, and thanks to you, defensive makes offensive capability's horrid.

This set bonus is simply awful and must be changed. We are tanks, give the avoidance check bonus's to the monks and bruisers that are able to put out DPS as well as maintain high avoidance because they are the people that will be doing the job in a raid.

Guardian 4 set bonus:

(4) Applies Focus: Staggering Charge.

Grants an increased Shield Block Chance to caster immediately following by Staggering Charge.

ShadowKnight 4 set bonus:

(4) Applies Focus: Siphon Vitae

Enchances Siphon Vitae to affect an entire encounter.

Zerker 4 set bonus:

(4) Applies Focus: Dismember.

Increases the damage of Dismember by 100 and additionally damages the entire encounter.

Now THAT is a tank 4 set bonus. Can the person in charge of Guardians please be given charge over whoever decides the changes for Paladins? because that guy knows what a tank is.

Please study your game before making armor that every tank will have to use in order to make use of the crit mit that is needed in raids now.

Don't bother... its not gonan change its been improved to be the best it is gonna get i.e. pretyt much the best fighter avoid buff for MT now (pushing us into an OT role yet again... yeah... I know.)

But the fact remains we got a really sweet 4 set bonus for VP, ergo they must nerf and give us a crappy bonus next expansion. happens all the time :/

It comes down to this. The 4 piece set on a set of raid armor is only useful in groups, and really not even then. This needs to be changed. Right now I hae my full VP set and 4 pieces of Zealous Voidbeam armor. I do not want to give up my 4 piece vp set bonus. What is the point in continuing through the content without a carrot to chase?

Give us the VP 4 piece bonus on this set just like you resused the 2 piece bonus. Add some heal crit or damage absorbtion and call it a new idea.

First of all, my apologies for the necro post on this topic. This is probably my very first post on these boards, but i would really like to bump this. I and i am sure many others are heavily disappointed with the 4 piece bonus we get from the TSO Armor Set. I haven't gotten my 4th piece yet and even if it dropped i am not sure i would go for it. The "bonus" for having 4 pieces just makes me sad.

It feels like a totally wasted piece of armor to me, especially when i have to give up other bonuses that are so much better. I currently use a full Set of WoE Armor and while i don't mind to drop the extra 750 HP for more Critical Mitigation for tougher mobs ( i get up to 78% with a Warden with 2 TSO and 5 WoE ) i seriously doubt i would give up any other bonus of the WoE Armor for a slightly enhanced death prevention.

I could think of so many other options to add instead of that. If our heal(s) got improved by lets say 100 or adding a cure trauma effect to our cure spells ability ( /drool ), even a little damage to whatever CA it would already feel better TO ME than the "bonus" we currently get for having 4 pieces of TSO Armor. Pretty much everything would feel better to me than that.

I personally find it sad that this issue doesn't even seem to be adressed or looked at at all and i can only hope that someone in charge will dedicate a few minutes to this and maybe realizes how useless it at this point is.

Apologies also for my english, i am not a native english speaker and i am sure someone WILL find mistakes in that post

I just really had to post this since it has been bothering me since i first looked at the TSO Armor.

Best regards

Chilvod Bobdebobobjoe
