As a brig, I can select a TSO line that increases the mit reduction of Dispatch by about 3% per point. With my mythical, the current melee/CA mit reduction of Dispatch is about 5500. I'm wondering whether it is really worth spending the AA to get this reduction total higher. What I don't know is this: Assuming that 5 AA points on this adds 500-750 to my dispatch mit reduction for a total exceeding 6k, what DPS increase will this really yield for me, my group and my raid? This probably goes back to the age old q -- do mobs have mitigation, and if so how much? For example, do potao mobs have 6-7k mit or more? If so, maybe it makes sense to hike the dispatch mit reduction to 6k. But if they only have 5 k mit on average, adding to the dispatch mit reduction is useless. Or do mobs really utilize the mit concept that way at all? Maybe dispatch just adds damage in the end.Anywho, I don't know the answer. Anyone? Devs?

As a brig, I can select a TSO line that increases the mit reduction of Dispatch by about 3% per point.
Changing the colour of your test to black when the default background colour for these forums is very close to black = fail.

I have heard raid mobs have around 3-6k mitigation (can't really remember). I remember making comments about being surprised it was so low. I guess the damage increase is because the targets mitigation is in the negatives. Other than that, can't really help ya there. I'd prolly put points into the AA because people love Dispatched and the better it is...the more they love YOU!

I'm honestly not sure just how much mitigation a mob really has. I've never personally seen someone from SOE name a hard figure.

Having said that, I did take the AA into upgrading Dispatched. It is a brigand's signature ability, so not maxing it out is kind of silly (in my opinion). With a M1 scribed, mythical, and TSO AA, you're looking at a hair over 6.25K for the debuff amount. I've never regretted this AA choice and have never heard any complaints out of my fellow group / raid members either.

Some of them will have some minor racial resistances to a damage type but its minimal. The exception is the high level raid mobs have around 5k mitigation to magic based damages to balance out the caster hit rate since they dont use defense.

Thanks very much, A. I very much appreciate your response.

One follow up question: how does the game calculate the increase in DPS when dispatch is engaged? Is it just extra damage on 0 mit mobs? And if so, is there a way to figure out how much per 100 of dispatched mit? This type of info would help me make an informed choice about the TSO AA options. Thanks again.

Since it's already debuffing 5k anyways?

No, at 0 mitigation, your spells and combat arts will hit in the range listed on the spell or combat art. Against a mob with 5k mitigation, your spell or combat art will hit below the listed value. When its debuffed below 0, your spell or combat art will hit above the listed value.

That said, what is not clear is exactly how this curve (if it is a curve) works and where it plateus.

Different mitigation debuff skills stack up to LVL*150 mitigatiion. It is 80% more damage. It works like player mitigation in negative. Is it true?

For example level 80 mob with 0 base miti may be debuffed to -12000.

There's also thhe fact that you can't make more than twice the "normal" damage no matter of crits or mob's debuffs.

Are we forgeting enfeeble and rake are going to be running as well, not to mention other classes debuffs or did I miss the memo that says that debuffs don't stack?
