Dusting off my zerker

<p>I've had a Berserker I rolled and leveled to 70 this summer just before TSO was released, and at the time it was all about the buckler spec. I've since let him sit and gather dust but I've decided I want to get him leveled up to 80. I will be doing the usual solo grind to 79ish and then I plan to use some spare void shards I have to gear him up for tanking TSO instances at 80.</p><p>So my questions are:</p><p>1. What is the AA spec to roll with now that they've made changes to buckler reversal (warrior-zerker-tso)?</p><p>2. I have no problem respeccing at 80 (or getting a mirror), should I use two different specs for soloing/grouping?</p><p>3. And should I be using a a buckler or a tower shield or even dual wield?</p><p>Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>you should be fine with your old spec for now, just ditch and mute your bucklers because they are worthless after the change to stamina line.</p><p>dual wield or tower shield is personal preference, you lose a decent amount of survivability when you dual wield but it is the most superior method for us in holding aggro so at times you may be forced to dual wield to maintain aggro. i just suggest making a macro to swap between the 2.</p>

<p>Thanks for the tips lyger. So far I've manage to get to 79 and have tanked a few CoA and Seb runs and things seem to be working ok in lower parsing groups ~6kish. Hopefully with some shard armor and fabled epic I will be a bit steadier on agro control for the higher parsing folks.</p>

<p>Bump with another question.</p><p>I've got my zerker a full set of t1 shard armor (herioc steel), but i'm not sure which set of t1 jewelery to get him, should it be the berserker set or the defender set?</p><p>I ask this because it seems any time someone gets over 2k or so dps the agro goes right to them. I also noticed that i'm parsing anywhere between 800-1000 (weak I know, still waiting on ad3's to be made) so which of these two sets would help me get a better hold on my agro?</p>

<p>Don't bother with the void shard jewelry until you upgrade to Champion's Mirror armor.</p>

<p>yea, none of the jewelry pieces i looked at seemed to be worth the cost vs just getting the armor. jewelry dropped from the mobs on the runs should eventually be superior to anything the void merchants carry.</p>

<p>I haven't see any good earring lately, and for that reason my ear slots are the worst atm. So im using Stone Tower and Onslaught earrings, waiting for TSO raid stuff.</p>
