I was playing today when my connection got a little shody and I had to reboot my computer. I did and relogged back into the game, but when I did... all of my settings, etc were back to what they were ALMOST back when I originally put eq2 on my computer. That is, the game still reconized all my hotbars but they were all layered ontop of one another, etc. I tried the /load_uisettings command but all my charactures UIs are messed up. I can live with redoing everything (not thrilled but I can live with it) but I'm curious what caused it to happen so I can prevent it from happening again. It scares me that if I don't nail down what caused everything to reset it could happen again...

Also, since I'm asking about ui, is there a way to remove certain characture ui's from my computer? I ask because I'd like to not have the option to load ui from toons I was experimenting with but deleted when I first started playing.

Anyways, the UI going back to what they were when I first started playing and the inability to get them set up to what they were earlier is really racking my brain.... so thanks in advance. I appercaite it.

Greetings,

I would advise checking your display resolution for the game. If it shifted to a lower resolution for some reason then it will shrink the screen space and may stack up the hotbars like you mention. If you know what resolution you were running before then make sure it is still set to that number.

Actually, the screen got bigger and everything stacked, which I should have mentioned before. Still, probably the texture resolution. I'll go mess around with that and see if it fixes things. Any idea what would cause everything to be set to defualt though?
