Before I decided to ask this question, I fumbled through some of the previous similarly asked questions about resetting your AP's.

I created a Defiler which I thoroughly enjoy playing. At the moment I am soloing a lot and I placed my AP's primarily into the Int line of the Shaman skills. If I decide to move into more of the group/raid content will I be able to reset all points and place them under different skill sets? From my reading, I couldn't tell whether they coud be reset completely, or if they are placed in a specific section (INT) they will have to stay there only to be rearranged.

Assuming they can be completely reset, where would one go to do this?

If reset then yes you get all the points to use. alot of us when tso came out respeced to get the first 2 shadow lines filled and have been filling it in as we go. so if you have 50/50 in subclass tree you can reset and put those 50 into any tree you want.

In each city they have a respec councelor. I believe they are "Achievement Counselors". Goodies go to mage tower in SQ to do it, unsure of baddies.

You can respec each of the (3) trees individually. The first respec is 10g for each tree. The second respec is 1p for each tree, the third and subsequent respec are 10p for each tree. After one month, the price resets back to 10g.

Dont forget that you can get an AA mirror made so that you can store your current "solo" spec in the mirror and then respec for "raids". Then you can swap back and forth between the two as you need to. I'm a Fury so I have a DPS spec and a Heal spec. I LOVE having that AA mirror.
