"Invalid Login" while zoning!?

<p>I get a message reading "Invalid Login: Username or password incorrect" when I zone to another area, and the game closes. Any idea's why its giving me this completely useless error? I am already logged in and PLAYING my character, and I get this when I zone.</p><p>Any idea's why?</p>

<p>I'm getting this as well.  And when I use Station Launcher to get back in game, it tells me, "Game authorization failed."  I have to exit launcher, and go back in.  I know the user/pw thing has happened to several in my guild, and only happens to me when I zone into Kylong Plains for the moment.  Everywhere else has been fine for me.</p>

<p>Today of all days, I just needed some stress-free fun in EQII.</p><p>Crashing with the rather alarming error of 'BAD PASSWORD NO BISCUIT' was not exactly it.</p><p>/grump</p><p>And when the HELL are they gonna fix the [Removed for Content] roster stuff!  I've been 80 for a flippin month!</p>

<p>I've been having the same error, beginning today.  I so far have only noticed it while using my Call to Guild hall.  Ive managed to zone many times (been doing guild writs all night) without issue, but when Calling from Eternal Gorge: Daring Confrontation or Firemyst Gully: A Gallant Confrontation, the game dropped me with that same error.  Only noticed it today, after Erollsi day started.....</p>

<p>Just got this error and crash zoning from Enchanted Lands to Nek....after passing out a few roses.</p><p>Logged back in just fine.</p>

<p>Have had no issues in game since getting new PC in October, until yesterday evening.  3 difference crashes while zoning.  Into Darklight Woods druid portal, out of Nest of the Great Egg, into guild hall.  All gave same message, invalid login and then authorization not valid <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Hi all,</p><p>There was indeed an issue with the authentication servers after they were updated yesterday to support Recruit-A-Friend.  The SOE team that manages that system burned the midnight oil and appears to have resolved the issue.</p><p>Thanks for pointing this out, and my apolgies for the inconvenience yesterday!</p>

<p>I've been having the same issue.</p><p>Provided feedback to the extent that SoE wants us to recruit friends yet the game is so full of bugs, eq2players never works, staff can't be kind enough to warn us of a patch. Instead we have to check network status to see if a patch is planned (and see the advertisements that they now display on their site) get lame replys to petitions such as account was inactive at time booster packs were given so it will need to be active again for 30 more days when in fact the account has never been down etc.</p><p>Sorry SoE but I for one am starting to look for a more pleasurable gaming experience.</p><p>PS just wanted to add another good point: 9:50 PM PST - Servers Locked for UK per network status page. 10:10 PM PST network status page changes to all servers are up. Log in. Locked accorded to char select screen.  10:12 still same. See they can't even update network status page without error.</p>
