I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it is broken but Monk's Tsunami does not work against ranged attacks from the front but if it is a ranged attack from anyother quadrant it will be parried. This is silly that I have to turn my back to a ranged mob or class in PVP for my Tsunami to work but if I am facing him I get hit??? I know that the description says 100% Riposte of "melee" from the front and "ALL" other attacks are parried from other quadrants. This parry needs to be applied to ALL quadrants. I understand that we cant "riposte" a ranged attack but we should be able to PARRY the attack. I mean if a PVP parry belt can parry ranged attacks why cant our Tsunami do the same? Could this old bug please be fixed in the next update?

DEVS if you ever read this stuff please fix this silly issue.

This is likely because you are not attacking. If you are not fighting you can't riposte so that you don't get forced into combat. I did fix it to parry now though instead of just skipping the riposte completely.

Nice one, thanks Aeralik .

Just to clarify with my fellow monks, I always thought that you had to have hit the mob in question for Tsunami to work, as opposed to just be "in combat"?

As it stands now you can target yourself and turn autoattack on and it works.
