<p>I am confused by what our bonus is for the TSO Shard Armor shoulders. I have had several folk say our bonus if 5/8% base damage multiplier. But when I read the description it says Base Combat Art damage. So which is it? All damage or just CA damage.</p>

<p>If you put them on you see the reported CA damage go up, so yes it certainly seems to be before +CA damage bonuses.</p><p>But that's kinda what you'd assume base to mean <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>The +8% CA from the advanced shard shoulders isn't putting you far off where Master II would be.   The only downside is that the bulk of monk damage comes from autoattack, so for us having +8% autoattack damage would imo be much more useful.    I wonder if Aeralik is still reading? ....</p>

<p>On a similar note, it seems like the % bonus from the shoulders does not stack with the +10% CA dmg bonus from the Bloodthirsty Choker.  If you look at a CA like Desolating Fist, with the choker on, the dmg increases to 110% for standard targets, but with just the shoulders it only reports 100%...  Am I just reading the description wrong, or is this broken?</p>

<p>eh.....thats a very good point.  Lots of ways to increase autoattack, not so many for CAs.  I withdraw my previous claim.</p>
