So, how's that fix coming along?

What, you guys are running at...4 months now without a fix? Way to go!

Then again, we're talking about a company that's too cheap to spring for an 800 number, leaving it's paying customer base to spring for long distance....so I guess when they hire they scrape the bottom of the proverbial barrel.

Come on. Fix the issue. I'm tired of paying for a game that crashes a few times a session.

Autenil has been working on this problem and has a couple of fixes going out in the next hotfix.

Keep in mind that a big part of the problem for us is that we cannot reproduce this problem on our dev machines which makes it very difficult to troubleshoot the problem. Hopefully his two fixes will take care of your issue, but there's always the possibility that it might not.

I think we're going to try for a hotfix on Tuesday. If that happens, please let us know what your experience is with this error after the hotfix.

I will be sure to post the results of the hotfix.

I guess in this case your team may be experiencing the same sort of frustration as those of us who are having this error.

And maybe i sound a little apprehensive....but crashing allll the time after TSO is less than fun. If it works, and I don't crash - and at this point, i'll be happy with once every other session - I'll be the very first one to come here and give kudos.

It's not a little unfair. I've been waiting a long time - as have others - for a fix to an issue that ruins the game.

Yes I do have unlimited long distance. But...that's not really the point, is it?

Pure Virtual Function at 930am PST 2/10. If it went in with this hotfix (for Errolisi Day) it didn't work on my machine...

So, did a 'fix' go in?

You tell me first, and then I'll tell you if I had the same problem. I'm sure that you can guess that I did, because I honestly don't believe you're working on anything.

And no, I couldn't care less about how hard it is for your people to fix. That is irrelevant to me, I don't have sympathy for them. Maybe work some overtime or hire some new people. 4 months. That's absurd.

In fact, about half of my guild is now randomly crashing.

But hey, at least that new harvesting animation is in.

/rude

Hey, apparantly it works great on their Mega-rigs. BTW, I looked up this crash error on Microsofts website and they claim it is a simple C++ code error. I understand EQII has alot of files but its not like they do not know what patch started the problems.*TSO*. So, I do not understand why they cannot find it.

I had gone crazy trying different drivers, defraging , checking my Bios settings, etc.. Then I come to find out this has been a persistant problem since TSO. Reading the MS website about these errors really took the cake though. Simple coding error most likely caused by careless work or rushed coding. LOL. Simply put, LOL.

I love the lack of responces concerning this issue.
I have the same issue, just in case anyone is counting. First time after zoning into Temple of Kor'Sha, second time after gating back to Starcrest Commune. Does seem to happen to me more often shortly after changing zones, but that might be my imagination.
