Since the fighter changes have been postponed, but work on the new content continues apace (according to Kiara), is there any timeframe that you can give us as to when the new quests and zones will be available for testing?

I can't give you an exact date on this yet, as it is subject to change.

I would guesstimate within the next two weeks, for the Lavastorm content and other things coming with what is now GU #51.

What about the things that didn't get patched but were still unrelated to the fighter changes - ie the advanced raid window with dynamic data?

There were some features that didn't get published due to the amount of time it would have taken to split them and have QA test a new build. All of the "missing" features from GU51 will go out during our next game update but I don't have a date on it yet.

I'm glad to hear that it'll be available for testing in a couple of weeks, I was thinking it might not be until March.

No, today's patch was a hotfix to help improve performance and reduce lag. This feature will be going in with the remaining GU51 features and the fighter revamp.

Good grief. They're not adding the [Rick Astley] class, and they have made it abundantly clear that they never plan on adding the [Rick Astley] class. Ever. If you think I'm wrong, here's a link to one of the developers at last year's Fan Faire in Las Vegas talking about plans for future classes in the game.

Get over it, and move on.

Is there any updated timeframe for GU51?

It's only a couple days past the 16th but it seems to have been pretty quiet lately. I was wondering if we are looking at a longer delay to re-evaluate issues people are concerned with, or if it was just a little more involved and took a little longer than we hoped type of thing.

The so called "Fighter Revamp" or Fighter Nerf is not even remotely ready for live servers.

Especially the bits relating to the 2 Brawler classes which have clearly had bugger all actual thought and effort put into them.

I believe SOE could just keep it simple, and get the fighter changes in much faster.

While in defensive mode, increase taunts by 1.75 (approximation). (Since it's really hard to keep agro while defensive, the taunt increase would make up for the overall loss in dps)

While in offensive, leave the taunts like they are. (I know when I'm offensive, I still loose agro, just not as much)

Why force anyone to fight in a particular stance? Sure in regular instances offensive stance should be fine if you have the raid gear to back it up. If the same tank is in a hard raid zone, he should be switching to defensive mode or take a much higher chance of wiping the raid. No need to force him into making the logical decission.

But Aeralis' secret NERF of fighter is what is the hang up. He is dead set on nerfing figher hence the buff merger -- it is all about planning a nerf - AGGRO and HATE are just used to cover up his planned nerf .
