Since last revamp of this mob, we dont kill him.

There always come something in fight that break it.

Does Devs validated the changes on testing server with raid guilds before ?

Is there some guild that killed him since revamp (exept high ends guilds)?

My guild has killed Switchmaster without a problem since the change. And we aren't avatar geared or anything like that.Just get the timers on the 2 main AEs and joust a bit. Occassionally there will be bad timing with someone having yellow vision and then getting knocked back from one of the AEs, but crap happens, pull again.

Then we are unlucky, we time the ae of course but effectively there are some of yellowed screen players that are KB with an AE while moving to the yellow cloud.

But thanck for your feedback of this fight

Another thread documenting how this encounter was changed substantially with no notification or testing. Thanks a lot for ninja-changing the Switchmaster encounter, why do we have a test server again?

/shrug

He is less about a little luck in order to kill now, and more about actual skill. The AE that he has now is the same as the AE he had before the change, its just that the AE will happen more reliably (ie, won't be interupted). Guilds that were dealing with the AE had no issue with the change, guilds that were interupting or struggling to get back after getting hit by it are.

Interrupts on the AE were almost 100% luck, that has now been removed.

They just made his EXISTING AEs interruptable. If your raid cannot survive the AE, then get more crit mit, sacrifice dps gear for more hitpoints, or get more healers. The AE can be timed easily.

Really the addition of crit-mit should have included back-filling existing items with some crit-mit.
