Ahhh, scrying.. My husband and I were talking about this the other day. I loved to scry, would spend hours looking for the spots.

Once you get into the higher levels there are no scrying spots in game. : / After EL and Zek the world is free of those little rainbow spots on the ground. I wonder what the reason for this is? Is it too hard to add the coding for the spots in the other zones or since its been there forever and is in some of the original zones has developers forgot about it?

I too really enjoyed Scrying in the lower tiers. However, the rewards are minimal at best and as you've mentioned.. scrying spots seem to dry up after T4..

The books really need to give you something special or different. If I remember rightly (haven't tried one in a long long while), they don't even give achievement or even a little gold let alone anything like a trophy, a title, or a boost to the skills you supposedly master in. They're simply kill x of X.

I think the scrying would be a great way to have some 'cute' rewards, even as rarities, for example: old retired guide quest rewards, old retired quest reward items, old retired holiday items, oddly named bits that sound like trash but sell to an NPC for a surprising amount of coin, random collection quest bits (like ones you get from the burnai house pet), random bits of fruit or even nice things (i.e. the things you get from feeding the plant), and so on.

If the books were fixed to give -something- and there were rare 'keeper' rewards, it would be well worth seeking out the rainbows again (and then I'd really truly love to see them beyond the original T4 lands).

"the fury refused to heal (even though they were far superior to my non-raiding mystic)" - Stargrace

QFE.

That was a great night, having 3 members of the group asking the kind folks of eclipse to join in on voice, then finding out that one of their members was deaf... then being insulted for being insensitive (because obviously I can instantly tell through a game when someone has a handycap). Then to top it off the 3 members of the group not in eclipse all told the folks that were they should focus on the named so that the encounter would end faster and have to cause less recovery time. On that note, the day i can cast without power... will be a one hell of a crazy day.

Sincerely...

The Furious Fury (that couldn't heal without power)
