I'm curious what kind of DPS other Mystics out there are able to generate at level 80.

DPS circumstances (please be sure to specify which situation applies to the data you provide):

Solo (spec-ed for healing)

Solo (spec-ed for DPS)

Group (spec-ed for healing)

Group (spec-ed for DPS)

Raid (spec-ed for healing)

Raid (spec-ed for DPS) -- find it unlikely anyone out there would do this and thus have data, but figured I'd throw it out there all the same as I know there's some fairly uber and mighty interesting guilds out there doing some unconventional things these days with their raiding tactics.

If you've taken steps in an effort to increase or improve your DPS - what did you find helpful?

P.S. Please also specify if your DPS numbers are including your dog, or just you. Thank you in advance for anyone willing to share.

The only time I see a parse is on raids. I've gone on raids melee spec'd and with my mythical and dog can manage to generate around 4k dps on good fights. That's with a Dirge in my group and only on trash mobs in SoH, or PoAO.

Please don't post the parses. Right now dpsers that need to l2p are screaming that the fighter revamp is on hold because they think if implemented it will make them suddenly look good on a parse. If you post what we can do and still heal Mystics will find themselves next on the hit list.

In heal gear with heal stance etc our dps is moderate (1-2k max on raid trash with decent OT set-up - inq, dirge, coercer) - our dps only gets entertaining if we change to dps stance, swap to dps gear, take dps aas and [Removed for Content] our heal abilities - that sounds about spot on...

We only have a small number CAs - as long as you use the ACT plug-in to help with timing auto-attacks all we can do is cast these in the gaps - no science, no optimal cast orders, no leet ability required. Any high dps is virtually 100% down to gear and raid set-up.

Know this is a relatively old topic, but thought I'd add that there is a autoattack timer UI mod on EQ2 interface waiting for LU 51 to go live.

I've found turning off Third Party Damage alot of help with timing CA's and buffs.

(If your quick you can send your dog in to match your own swings so it's less confusing)
