I keep getting kicked about 1 in 3 times i zone into tso zones, and half the time i do over half my group gets kicked with me either to character select or the game just shuts down. But every single time i go to the crucible in EF i DO get kicked with about 99.99% of the time. This does not matter weather im 2 boxing on the same PC or if im running one acount. I have shut off ALL secuirty features for my PC to test it, it still happens, all drivers are New and updated as of last week. I have the newest system pack for windows, im running vista 32 bit. Id say well over 66% of the time the message i get when i go LD is Windows has to shut eq2 down..... Or i get Can not open eq2 crash log message....

I have also reinstalled eq2 twice now in the past mounth....Didnt seem to help.....

Here is some system info: Ill post it in a reply.

If anyone needs more info , i can try to help

Greetings,The problem you're describing sounds like it could be a router issue. Disconnect issues with only certain zone usually mean that the router is blocking one of the ports used by the game. I would advise bypassing your router and plugging your computer directly into the modem as a first step. If you try that and it corrects your issue then you'll need to configure your router if you wish to continue using it.The following site has great information about router configuration:http://www.portforward.com/english/...routerindex.htmSimply select the router you are using then select Everquest 2 on the next page. You will then be presented with a walkthrough on how to forward the correct ports. Please respond if you need any further assistance.

Well its not a router issue after haveing a tech support adivsor set it up for me, im still haveing the same problems....today i went into crucible and 4 out fo 6 people went LD and it wouldnt opena crash log either....windows is shutting eq2 down for some reason....

What causes windows to say eq2 has stoped working and shuts it down is there a way to stop that?

The 'eq2 has stopped working' message is a general error message for most crash issues. Sadly, it doesn't tell us much. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling your graphics card drivers? If not, that would be a good first step.

Also, does it ever give you a 'login rejected' error message when the game crashes? If so, that might indicate an account bug.

Yes i have reinstalled and unistalled the graphics drivers atleast 3 times in the past 2 weeks, i do not get the login message though i do how ever sometimes get a message that say: Failed to open crash log or something simliar to it, next time i go LD zoneing ill see what part of the process of zoneing it occurs in and make note of it.

EDIT: also forgot to mention i have tried new drivers and some older ones and it doesnt help...

First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the default directory in: C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II2. Click on MY COMPUTER and then proceed into local disk C:3. Navigate your way to the default directory, or your chosen installation directory.4. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 5. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher.

That should correct the problem if it is a UI issue, which seems like a possibility based on the timing of the crashes.
