Hey.

Ive been planing to try out EQ2 with the misses, and she always liked to play healer in games so she will roll one here aswell.

We will only play togheter so im looking for a suitable class to match with her healer. Ive always liked to play a Melee-class so ive been looking at playing a Paladin. But since we got a healer already it might be easier for us to quest (faster killing) with another melee-class. And so i was looking at a Berserker, but i have no knowlede of the class at all.

How do you play? I like the idea of using DW, but from what i read it seems that using a shield is better (which isnt my view of a Berserker) but im gonna keep an open mind and give the class a fair chance.

We both got the Ruse of kunar all-in-one package, so can someone recommend how to spend these AA points when i play with a healer?

Thanks.

Roll with a Warden or Inquisitor. They both provide a very good mix of healing, DPS, and utility buffs.

You should have no problem dual wielding as long as you don't take on mobs that are too hard. Any solo or 1-up mobs should be easy to dual wield on. When you move up to 2-up or 3-up mobs, or a group of mobs, you will want to use a shield to ease up the healing.

As far as AA build goes, any standard tank build will work. If you don't plan on doing much tanking for groups, you can concentrate less on Hate and more on DPS. Start with the Warrior tree:

Warrior:STR 448STA 44882INT 44882 (after you hit level 70)

By the time you fill out your Warrior tree, you should have a good idea how to fill out the other trees.
