With all the merging of spells and stances for tanks what happens when you merge an Ad3 with a Master1?

What quality is the spell after the merge? is it an Ad3 or a Master1?

Or are they all being reset to App1 like any other new spell you get?

This has been discussed in a number of places; when spells are merged, the higher of the two takes effect. So if one is M1 and the other is AD3, the merged spell becomes M1.

Thanks for the information, I had tried searching but came up with nothing relavent.

Would you happen to have any links to where this is discussed?

What about the unscribed spells that are getting merged? I have yet to see that question answered, but I may have missed it.

If I understand correctly, unscribed spells will become whatever spell/CA they are being merged into.

Since it is unscribed, I think that the quality level (adept I or III, etc) will stay the same.

What spells are being added to replace what is taken away so that I can still play the master's leaderboards? Or are fighters just going to be further handicapped on that?

If you follow the link that Kordan posted you will find this information posted there by a redname:

"When two spells are merged, whichever original spell had the highest tier will apply it to the final spell. For example a Shadowknight with Master I Dark Caress and Adept I Stance: Defensive Pact will end up with a Master I Stance: Defensive Pact."
What it means is that if one of your spells that are being merged are a M1 then the new spell will me M1, the new merged spell will be the highest level of whatever spells it merges that you had prior to the merge.

As for the unscribed ones that are for sale on the broker or in someones bank, I hope Kiara is right about them turning into the new merged stance at the same quality level, M1 old spell will be M1 new stance that it is merged into.

I was directly answering the question about UNSCRIBED spells.

Scribed spells, will be getting the higher of the two. If you have one at Ad III and one at M1 the M1 will prevail.

The team is making as certain as possible that you don't get cheated.
