Just wanting to know what exactly is coming to live, not real happy about the revamp push back b/c we all know the best testing happens on live. What is hitting live though besides the E. Day stuff? Is the Heirloom Tag for shards and other stuff going in to?

Just curious is all =P

I'd agree with ya on that they could leave it on test for another year and still not get the real testing done till it hit live just due to populations. I copied my fabled guard over as soon as test copy came online and everytime i log into that server there is less then 20 people on.

Not enough of a reason to log onto test for people. They should really provide some incentive. I'm not talking about giving away Masters and Mythicals but maybe a free LoN loot card or some Marketplace points for logging in and helping with testing.

People complain that stuff isn't tested enough before it's published and then cry and whine because it was released to live.

Spend more time on Test, or keep your complaints limited to post-test feedback for things that were missed. To do otherwise is like your wife asking you to help her make dinner and refusing, then telling her it tastes like crap when dinner is served.

That doesn't mean things should be rushed to live by any means, but that the scale of live, and the styles of play found there will allow for many more possibilities to be tested than a single Test server could ever allow for.

i don't feel like logging in to play a useless game so your point of view is your own, some issues still need to be addressed on test..

They don't need to take a bite just to make sure.

Edit: While playtesting is certainly helpful to SOE, it's not a civic duty. Not surprisingly, most players actually want to play the game, not work as unpaid QA code testers. And the virtue that they've paid their $15 means they're entitled to an opinion, whether they've tested or not. It's called being a paying customer.

When you take your car in for it's scheduled service, and afterwards the transmission blows, it's unacceptable for them to say "These kinds of things should be expected. If you would have been in the garage with the mechanics and provided feedback, this wouldn't have happened." Or in the case of Paladins, you bring in your Honda CRV and they hand you back the keys to a Yugo, and insist that it really is your car.
