I would like to ask what is your opinion about the ideal AA cleric line setup for pvp? I have finished STR line and I have 4/8/8 in STA line. now I wonder if I should complete STA line (because the damage shield looks very tempting) or if I should go for shield mezz in AGI line or if I should go for DD spell in INT line?

I also have battle cleric of course

The setup I ask for is for PvP and not for raids...

Wow, I want that setup...my inq is only 27 so far.

I heard the mezz is very useful...especially if you get jumped...cast mezz...put up your heal reactives/debuff then engage. Pretty much you win! : )

I don't play pvp but I would think that the INT and WIS lines would be useless in PvP. I have yet to see an undead PC (even though a few look like one). Certainly you want STA for the melee crit and AGI for the double attack bonus. The AGI mezz would probably much more useful than on PvE.

Well useful abilities for pvp

KoS

Str - steadfast, interupt proc, hp

Agi - shield effectiveness/dbl attack (if you use a 1 hander)

Sta - divine aura, heal crit, melee crit

Wis -

Int - casting speed, divine recovery (either for burst damage or healing)

EoF

battle cleric and CAs

reverse reactives

+5 spell range

TSO

rather straight forward, faster better heals and dps bonuses

You can't always think "DPS, DPS, KILL, KILL". Control the fight and you win, you can try to outdps a scout but I doubt you will.

Casting order: Numbers include recovery time.

Mez maxed 18s duration (whether you are the attacker or attackee)

Vengeance 2.5s

Repentance 2.5s

Shame (whatever the upgrades are) 2s

Group reactive (if you have time otherwise just do Single target) 5.5s

Single target 2.5s

Total cast time 15 seconds

I used this order for the longest time, I had this one Ranger call my class completely OP in lower tiers because he COULD not beat me even if he got ranged. I would simply pop Divine Aura or my Emergencies. I remember wiping a whole raid of greens (yes no lie, they sucked though).

personally, I'm going

Cleric

STR 4-4-8-8-0-2

STA 8-4-8

INT 3

The AGI mezz and dbl attack would be nice, but not worth the points to me imho. Int line is better for Temps imo, unless you decide to not go the Battle cleric route and want to cast. Either way, you want the STR end ability.

Inquisitor

Battle Cleric: 5-Invocation, 5-Writhing, 5-Strike of Flames, 5-Litany, 1-Battle Cleric

Detriments: 5-Condemned, 5-Deny, 5-Confined

Punishments: 5-Devotee's, 5-Heritic's, 4-Retaliation

Totaly going for DPS and debuff here. We don't get enhancements to heal, otherwise I would go that route.

TSO I haven't looked into yet, but will put 5 to HP and Power in General.

A waste of points, if ANYTHING atleast 4-1 so you can get the nuke. Would advise towards Agi 4-1 however, since a mez gives you a lot more freedom to heal and "setup" the massive DPS. Since at that level it is all about damage reactives.

The AGI mezz and dbl attack would be nice, but not worth the points to me imho.
