<p>Wanted to start a thread trying to address the many drawbacks to the Summoner AA lines. Currently once you have 184 there is no need for the other 16, let's try and fix that.</p><p>Summoner:</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Animated Dagger</span> - Currently this is only used to proc spells</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - Add a parry or something debuff to it, I mean it is a dagger.</p><p>Implode - Currently I don't know a single summoner who has this even in a solo spec. The damage caused just isn't worth losing the main pet.</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - Make this effect dumbfire pets only, boom!</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Minion's Zeal</span> - ok aside from the fact that both summoners scout pets are practically useless to use because of the auto attack nerf that happened a while back, this 2.5% increase per level for double attack needs looking at.</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - change this to 12.5% per level so that 100% double attack can be obtained, its obtainable for scouts why not our pet?</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Reanimate</span> - I'm sorry this has to be the single worst endline ability ever. Immediate ressurection of the scout pet, however it only lasts 10 secs and you can't resummon the pet you just lost without despawning the one you just ressurected, so uh....what's the point? Why not immediately start to resummon the scout pet right away?</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - change this so its a permanent resummon not a temp one.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Perceptor's Command</span> - I am not quite sure what the change to this will be after the change, but THE biggest single complaint on this spell is that its resisted WAAAAAY too much.</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - remove the % chance to raise hate position, increase hate gain and reduce resistability to very very low levels.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Unflinching servent</span> - Not exactly sure where this has any meaning in the current game. The STA line is mostly used in solo specs and having a AE immune pet really doesn't make any sense.</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - Make it a pet super buff, basically turning the pet into an unstoppable force for 30 secs, have a 5 min or more recast. Pet gains 80% avoidance increased hate gain, do not increase pet damage. Basically looking for a pet save here.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Enhance: Summoning</span> - This is a great ability buried beneath something most dps spec'd necros never use.</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - I would love to see this ability melded into each of the 3 pet summon abilities. ie 5 points in mage pet reduces the summon 3 secs. Replacing this with a shield block or parry ability for the tank pet.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Ooze Crawler</span> - Currently this is a waste of points to spend on. It is resisted way too much, has scaling problems, buffs don't stack over other classes, and removes the main pet from the lineup.</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - Change this to a pet type buff, with a % to proc on it, something like 2.2 times a min or something. Not losing our main source of dps to provide a bit of debuffs useful to a raid would be very nice. Also make this stack with everything in the game, its usefulness declines rapidly with the max debuff values applied to mobs.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Enhance: Chains of Eternity</span> - currently reduces cast by 0.1 sec per level</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - change this to 0.2, a 25% decrease in casting speed for an emergency spell is a bit low for an aa ability.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Enhance: Dispel Magic</span> - Um I have no comment on this other than the fact that dispel magic is about the single most useless spell in the game from a mage standpoint.</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - adding a % increase in the heal portion of our lifetaps would be very useful from a solo spec standpoint.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Enhance: Devour Vigor</span> - Great spell, 2 expansions ago. </p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - Recast reduction in Undead Horde would be awesome. Or a damage increase to Drain Life would be more column appropriate.</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Shadows Line</span> - Was awesome that we finally got that missing spell from the mage pet, however why is it we have to spend 44 points to get it when it should have been a scaling issue resolved by just givin it to us?</p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Stench of Blood</span> - Great ability</p><p> <span style="color: #3366ff;">Proposed change</span> - would like to see this changed to 10 sec reduction instead of 5. Giving us more AE ability would greatly improve our group and raid viability since we are limited in how we perform in this arena. Saying that conjurors are the kings of this realm is kinda backwards seeing as how we have a 'warlock' pet but doesn't have any real AEs. This change would also not shift the spectrum too much but would increase our desirability.</p>
