REALLY bad bug found

<p>i have been doing eq2 since maybe 3 years ago.</p><p>i decided to try the eq1 trial escape to norrath.</p><p>when i tried to play eq2 again (via the old non-launchpad method), eq2 thinks the eq1 are the correct files, and sees it's wrong, and refuses to launch, no error.</p><p>the fix is to use the launchpad, but stil, i was using the old eq2.exe method for all these years, and due to a bug by SOE, i'm now forced to use the launchpad. a annoyance at most, but for those who do not know even what the launchpad is (i discovered it a week ago), this can be a pretty serious bug, as they have no way of playing eq2.</p>

<p>sounds more like your shortcuts are messed up more then a bug.</p><p>If I recall correctly the launch for the EQ1 trial is eascapetonorrath.exe.</p>
