I was duoing in KC with a zerker who is a mt for a raid guild, just testing how agro was working. Of course was nice to see even though I am one of the best geared rangers that the zerker, who used to have so much trouble holding agro (unless in offensive and spaming contantly, even though sometimes I could still take agro) was able to hold agro very well now in defensive. Without a dirge or coercer zerkers would have a very tough time on live holding agro (like most tanks would).

I thought also to test transfers of hate and see if it shows in the logs now. It does not. However we did see the effect on the hate meter. I would attack a training dummy and melee it for a bit and he would be standing 10m away not doing anything and would see his hate meter going up. With the trak shield effect on the hate meter would go as high as 10 if he did nothing and i was attacking full time. So that works.

At another point during the testing I wanted to see if i could see in the log the hate from myself transfering to the hawk. Though this seemed very hard to test, I just have to take the optimistic approach and assume its working correctly as it always should have in the first place. I noticed that at one point during the testing that the hawk did a deagro by 3 hate positions. I'm not sure if it always did that but I thought that was a nice effect to have since the groups non fighter agro is being transfered to it. This only happened once through many tests though.

The one time it triggered was the tank was keeping agro by taunting and leting the mob beat on him and I would sit back and just cast the hawk and let the duration run out. We tried the same thing over and over to reproduce the effect and it never appeared again on the logs. How does the deagro work? does it do it randomly, when it gets agro, or none of the above?
