EQ2 players and the Anonymous player?

<p>I was considering paying the extra $1.99 to upgrade, but I have a question about anonymous players. </p><p>Currently, when I go to class leaderboards and look under Bruisers and "most items crafted" it shows as #1 an anonymous player.  If I pay the $1.99 do I get to see who the person really is or does it stay anonymous?  I will not upgrade if it stays anonymous as it would be silly to try and use a service that restricts what I am trying to learn.</p><p>I could see making your alts anonymous and not viewable, but seems to me every main character I should be able to see if I pay the extra money.</p><p>Thanks.</p>

<p>Anonymous players remain anonymous, as they are so by choice of their owner.  Bypassing this by paying would make it kinda... pointless <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>I can understand PvPers wanting to hide their stats, but why this is also possible for regular PvE players is beyond me.  As for the main vs alt thing, there is no distinction between a main character versus an alt outside of what the player decides.</p>

<p>Then I won't pay for this service as it is kinda pointless with all the anonymous mains.  You wanna hide your alts on PVE thats fine with me-but Mains should be viewable.</p>
