<p>I actually looked carefully at all races and decided to make my bruiser an Arasai.</p><p>5% in combat movement speed and the 50% speed temp buff means it's the fastest class in combat</p><p>The combat buff includes +5 defense so it works out well for tanks.</p><p>The combat temp buff is considered more powerful than the extra attacks other races have.</p><p>Humans would have some more defensive/offensive skill bonuses, and some races would have the 3% hp instead of the in combat power regen, but I think the benefits of being an arasai outweight either of those.</p><p>To Be Honest, I don't like Arasai, but I couldn't justify taking any other class because I liked the racials so much.  I just keep him in a permanent illusion.</p>

<p>I think people underestimate the power and glory of "fae fall" and how it helps so much in later tiers when you have insanely high platforms that only that or LON cloak items (very expensive) can help you out in...</p><p>plus in PVP server, its great to be able to jump down off of any Sokokar flight path and land on your enemies... which of course holds true for questing in PVP/PVE servers....</p>
