Ok, so my guild has been in "rebuild" mode for close to a year now after some major upheaval. We're pretty much starting from scratch as far as raiding goes, and are just now finally fielding enough players to even make an attempt. We're doing zones like Protector's Realm, Pawbuster, Thuuga, SoH, etc. (please don't laugh!)

We have refugees from a variety of guilds and everyone has a little bit different input/ideas on how stuff works. I would like to get a definitive answer on swarm pets/pets dying in these raids, and how it negatively effects us.

Protector's Realm - Doomcoil - heals up a large chunk of hp whenever he kills anyone. Does this proc if I miss an AoE and he kills my primary pet? Does it proc if he kills an aqueous serpent? Pyro? Communion pets?

Pawbuster - does he give himself that buff if he kills any of the afforementioned pets?

Mayong Mistmoore (T7, we had to go in there to get our dirge a mythical update) - Does his close range AoE that heals 2% for each creature hit go off on swarm pets or just controllables?

I'm hoping there's one unilateral answer so we can know definitively whether or not we can use these options in these encounters. Or is it a case by case basis where some mobs consider swarms as a true kill, where others don't? Please, any of you knowledgable summoners out there enlighten my guild so our conjurors/necromancers can know if they are unneccesarily shackling themselves.

*Cross posted from conjuror forum*

Most are created by ignorant raid leaders who don't play any pet usable classes.
