Self buff granting chance, on successful melee attack, to increase hate gain and atk speed for 20 seconds or until swashbuckler takes damage.

Ok first off this is a level 60 spell that could use some upgrading. Aside from that, when the proc is running it gives the Swashbuckler a +5 Hate Gain which was great when we had a Hate Xfer but now we are needing to get our hate gains as low as possible and this is not going to help. Neways, just wondering if there are any plans on changing this.

I'm betting that whenever they get around to a "Scout fix" it will get conflated with our Offensive Stance, which will simply infuriate me.

I hope I'm wrong, but I can't think of any good reason for Aeralik to not follow the precedent he's already set with Fighters

Skills and damage scale up with level... the haste cap is 200 at level 1 and 200 at level 80. So any spell that's a straight percentage (brawler heal), or a Haste or DPS effect, has to stop upgrading at some point. The Devs said that point was "T7". And for the couple spells like that which do have T8 upgrades (bard buffs), the upgrade is pathetic... Adept3s are worse than the previous tier's Master1s. Do you really need another Master on the drop table that'll give you +1 more haste?

2) Probably not going to lose the hate gain, it's the flavor of the spell and wasn't meant as a tool for more transfer... you land a shot, become more confident, strike harder while throwing out some have-at-you-knave banter... until your foe turns around and smacks you one for it. (Consider the other side of the rogue coin... Brigands have a hate-position-first, smack-the-mob-in-retaliation skill.)

@ Flaye... yup. You'll almost certainly get some illegible 19-line super-buff like the fighters are getting now.

Okay yeah, thats great what you've got going on in your head but it doesn't change the fact that the skill needs to be fixed to be in line with the new hate mechanics.
