<p>Well for the life of me I can't understand why fighters are now the best classes in the game at staying at the bottom of the hate list. We can fight over that just as well as fighting for the top.</p><p>So what can we do with all that detaunt?</p><p>I propose and ask the devs if this change is going to go live, that they consider adding a new way to protect our group mates for tanks in Offensive Stance.</p><p>This new ability takes 1 conc slot (Please do not tie it with the Offensive stance, this is a gameplay choice mechanic)</p><p>Recast 10 seconds</p><p>Duration: Until canceled</p><p>Effect: All detaunts are spread amongst group members evenly (or even 50-90% of each detaunt)</p><p>Essentially a detaunt transfer for the group. Another way for a tertiary tank in a group to protect the raid/group members if they are being brought along. <strong>This gives another choice in the role you want to play. </strong>So besides switching stances to take agro, we can also detaunt a little for the group.</p><p>I have no idea the numbers or if this idea is too imbalanced. But I can't understand why we would want to detaunt that much. Since DPSing for my SK "requires" me to use skills with detaunt now attached to them and if I take a step further and start actively detaunting, I can do something for my group, besides DPS (which of course is always good, but still I'm a tank, if I wanted to really DPS, I will roll an assassin. And yes, I put out good numbers as an SK, but not everyone is an SK. This is for all fighters.).</p><p>Just a choice, but honestly I hope they scrap the entire detaunt thing for a -50% hate mod and keep the taunts... A tank with detaunts... Thats awesome -_-</p><p>Please discuss</p>

<p>They are simply master of hate control. That's their busineess. As a tank they have to control hate to get as much as possible. I can see that they can also choose to get as few as possible.</p><p>I don't know if it's good for the game, I would have to see it live first. But I can see no problem with this from a roleplay perspective.I also don't see much problem with it for the game, as long as the fighter dps doesn't get higher than any dps from scouts and mages. Would be bad if a raid needs fighter dps because scout and mages generate to much agro, but I doubt this will happen <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
