If I understand this correctly, raid tanks are going to need to be in defensive stance both for survivability and aggro management, which will come at the cost of significantly reduced DPS by tanks. Also, due to the removal or reduction of hate transfers, high DPS classes are probably going to need to throttle their DPS more than they currently do, to avoid stealing aggro. In many cases, this is going to mean a net reduction in overall raid DPS.

However, a few encounters currently have DPS thresholds that must be met to avoid a raid wipe. Some have been revamped several times, based on the DPS levels achieveable today.

On Nexona, for example, overall DPS is probably going to drop pretty significantly. Tanks are going to put out less DPS, and higher DPS classes are going to have to scale back to maintain aggro. For any guild that doesn't already have mythical weapons, and is still learning the encounter, it is going to make this fight longer and more difficult than it already is.

So, will such encounters be tuned to match the pending fighter and hate transfer changes? Is anyone looking at this?

We were actually JUST discussing this tonight in guild.

Overall DPS is going to go down considerably. Scouts will have to slow it down, include de-taunts in their casting orders....no more ezmode with Amends/Dirge/Coercer transfers. Overall tank DPS is going down....hell, overall the entire DPS of the game is going down. Which, IMO, was necessary anyway. Some of the parses I've been seeing are just ridiculously high and players have been literally blasting through content that was supposed to be challenging.

A lot of encounters are fine as-is. But some of the fights, like Nex, are going to require a lot more coordination than before. Whether they need to be re-adjusted or not only time will tell. But for now...it's absolutely worth taking into consideration.
