I'm a bit confused - I added up all the abilities that have raw threat on them I could find (alchemist recipe book) between the various plate fighters (sorry brawlers it took hours without even trying to include 2 classes I'm almost entirely ignorant of), and the numbers just don't make a lot of sense. Am I missing some taunts?

Guardian: Impede, Gut Kick, Guard, Armoured, Slanderous Assault, Siege, Infraction (Recapture, Reinforcement)

Berzerker: Mock, Trample, Bellow, Determined Will, Insolence, Bloodshower, War Pledge

Paladin: Clarion, Pentitent Kick, Heroic Dash, Excoriation, Bayle's Stance, Circular Smite, Restitution (Holy Ground, Sigil of Heroism)

Shadow Knight: Insinuate, Lucan's Boot, Hateful Slam, Chastisement, Fiendish Circle, Grave Sacreament (Death march)

Basically I added up the total threat and damage (assuming 1:1), and heals (assuming 1:2), and ignored the ones in (), and divided by the cast+recovery+recast time. Assumed you hit the mob as often as the proc rate says (e.g 1.5/minute), and mobs hit you every 4sec. Took the max taunt/damage/heal where there was a range, and made sure my paladin was in defensive stance with all hate increasing AAs in force

The results was I get all 4 fighters having more or less the same threat on a single target (6% spread) Paladin>SK>Zerker>Guard

2988>2967>2830>2801

The threat figure itself seems pretty low too, as I was actually parsing 4.6k threat according to ACT on yellow mobs in Jarsath Wastes, but I can put that down to short fights vs the theoretical threat figures I worked out as continous averages.

On multiple targets there is a very wide spread SK >> Zerker >>>>>>> Guard >> Paladin.

I tend to believe the multitarget figures, as SK/Zerker just have a whole lot more abilities with threat on them, but can't see how guardian can really be lowest single target (even though only fractionally) - so figuring i've missed a few.

I'd post my spreadsheet, but this forum isn't great for tables.

p.s. Please keep comments on experimental technique to yourself. I'm very aware that I have not accounted for Survivability, DPS, autoattack or otherwise (and what is it with some fighters being able to buff CSP substantially in defensive!), all the special abilities like reinforcement, gear, AA abilties, common spells that some figthers get to enhance more than others (rescue for SK for example) ...
