This skill isnt working in any TSO instances, on encounters I know it to have previously worked. Not sure if this is the skill itself or because the control effects have been made incurable, but its not cool. This pretty much makes the end line ability for crusaders worthless. Either make it able to cure these effects or give us something else worthwhile.

I've noticed that more and more encounters are now uncurable, done so in a ninja style change. What was curable with Aura last week is not curable with Aura this week. A very disappointing AA indeed. Coupled with the 10% chance to resist Stifle AA -- the two skills can take a flying leap together.

I noticed that if failed to work repeatedly in Crucible but I can't say whether that is a new problem or an old one.

But the big weakness of AotC is that it doesn't cure mez/charm. That, and the fact that if you do use it when there are no control effects on you, it still cycles for the full recast time. That's the real pain, because I can't tell you how many times I've punched AotC only to see a healer cure the effect a split second earlier (and its worse in fights where you're lagging), which means we lose the immunity.

It's still useful, but its usefulness has more limitations than it should, given its high recast time.

In these zones I have noticed that it has failed to work.

Deep forge

Crucible

Veksar

Artrebe's (Kor'Sha Instance)

I havent run some of the other zones on my pally in a while so I cant remember if it worked at all.

Why give us an AA ability then make all the mobs (including trash) uncurable when they cast it?

Yea it only is about 50% useful at that, what would be really nice is if they added about 1k ward to it.

Now that would be worth something even if you waste a click it and it does nothing or your effect gets cured before you get to cancle the cast. At least you would still have the ward, just put it on a 5-10sec duration on the ward.

1K something isnt too much to ask.

Honestly, I don't think it needs a ward component. What would I like to see in AotC? I would like it to work against all curable control effects (including mez/charm), and I would like to be able to use it preventively. In other words, if there is currently no control effect on the Paladin, then casting it simply grants the temporary immunity. That way, if you know you're about to pull a bunch of mobs that will stun/stifle/fear/mez/whatever, you can use it to make yourself immune for a short period of time. If that is deemed to powerful, then I would at least like it to not cycle if there's no control effect. The way it works now, if you punch AotC but the healer gets a cure off on you a split second before, it does nothing and still can't be used for the full recast time. That's just wrong.
