OK trying to igure out what I'm reading for LU52 and I see some spells are going into our stnaces, but from what I see they are AA point spells not scribed spells so I'm lost as to how people are upgrading their stances on test.

Can someone tell me just what spells are going into the stnaces that do this?

And the berserk proc in defensive stance adds hate mod. I feel like to balance this the berserk proc in offensive should have some sort of extra damage component added. Must just like a straight 1.X damage mod since if you just have end game instace gear you can soft cap dps/haste.

What happen if I had my skill berserker rage Master and it got merged? I lose my Master?

And also, what is this?

Taunts and detaunts can now critical similar to how melee and spell criticals work.Threat output and hate position changes will now be displayed to the chat windows. You can find it under Combat in the Hate Adjustment category.Hate gain mods will no longer affect taunt adjustments.Area of effect spells and combat arts will no longer spread hate to encounter members when damage is applied.

Have I read correctly? AoE DOESN'T create hate to the whole encounter? Damage DOESN'T create hate?? I keep aggro because I do massive damage and AoE damage. So how I will keep hate on me?

So, if you had everything at Adept 1, but you had a Master 1 of your Berserk Rage, you win. You get Master 1s of both stances. If, like me, you bought your masters because RNG hates you and had them all, you lose.

The other stuff ... it's just what it says. Taunts can crit, you can disable hate stuff in chat if you want.

Honestly I'm still not 100% certain on the hate gain mods issue, but it sounds like and hate modifier, like Hyran's Seething Sonata, will only affect hate gain through DPS/heals, and will NOT adjust hate gained via taunts/detaunts. That sounds odd.

The AoE thing doesn't mean what you think. When you hit one mob, just one, it creates hate with all mobs in the encounter right now. It won't anymore. If you hit all the mobs in the encounter (as is our specialty) they will all hate you. There's a post in the testing boards that explained it really well I thought. But if you hit mobs 1-4 for 1000, that currently creates 1000 hate with each, plus 200 (or some such) with each for each mob you are hitting. So an AoE hitting each of 4 linked mobs for 1000 would generate 1600 hate with each. Now it will generate 1000 with each. Really impacts everyone the same.

Elanjar@Nagafen wrote:

And the berserk proc in defensive stance adds hate mod.
so what happens if you are in my case and berserk rage was your master 2 choice? do both my stances go to master 2 now?

No. It counts as whatever quality it was BEFORE you designated it your M2. So if you've scribed the Adept 1 of it, it counts as Adept 1.

Your M2 choices are reset and Berserk Rage (since it no longer exists) is no longer a Master 2 choice. I believe Trample is what has replaced it.

that is just wrong... i've moved over to testing feedback on this thread... but needless to say this is just sooooo wrong

your M2 is basically a free spell, perhaps there should be some sort of check that if you overwrite your new M2 with a master that the previous spell should be turned into M1 when it merges.

wouldnt that give people free masters though?

Elanjar@Nagafen wrote:

wouldnt that give people free masters though?

No more so than those getting the free masters from losing their M1's and getting two new M1's

Simply put they are taking away part of how we decided to roll our toons, and abilities we have learned to play our toons with.

Simply pu those with master 1 abilities are getting something for free, they don't have the M1 stances, but are getting them for free for loosing the m1 buffs. So in essence, yes you are handing out free masters. SOE is simply not handing out the masters to those of us with the higher masters.

Since it's by product was provoking counter-attack that is listed in both stances that Victor showed in another post? Has this since changed? I Already had owned Aggressive Defense and just bought War Fury since I was told it will merge with Rouse. Most of the spells on my server, are way out of porportion price wise or are no longer for sale if you wanted to get it merged into a current spell. Least my spells are Adept III that I haven't master'd.

So ... I wonder. If you've already scribed Aggressive Defense and everything else in the stances is Ad3 ... copy over and see, I guess.

I would ASSUME you get a Master of the stance instead, but we all know what happens when I do that. Might try buying a lower level master and copying over to see while there's still time.
