There are so many threads on dual/multi-cores i can't find out anything more recent.

I am considering purchasing Shadow Odyssey , but am curious how the game will run on my comp. I have vista 32-bit,dual 9800gt's , 4gb of ram and an intel core 2 duo 3ghz processor.

Does the game now work better with vista and will it utilize my dual core and SLI?

Not really. I went from a P4 3.2ghz and an older ATI vid card and upgraded to a new PC with a GTX280 and a Q6600 processor and actually saw a decrease in performance. I ended up overclocking the Q6600 to 3.15 and it runs about the same as it did before I upgraded. But man you should see Crysis.

The game will run nicely on your setup, but not much better than it would on a PC 3-4 years old.
