Hi,

as i had a look at the Spell and the Shadow AA according to it, one question arose:

The Spell (Converge) dehates you for 8%.The AA makes that Spell better: 4% for every Point you spend in.

Does that meana) The Spell amount goes UP for 4%, netting 28% (5x4+8) with 5 points spend in ?orb) The Dehate Amount is modificated, netting 9,6% (1,6+8) with 5 points spend in ?

Regards, theriatis.

Neither, it increases the dehate of the proc.

Thanks Noaani,

but i'm close to think that this is a Rip-Off.

I'm thinking about getting rid of the Ice-Flame Enhancement AA for this... and, if the situation is really worse, changing the KOS Line from STR to INT (i will never give up AGI und WIS).

Regards, theriatis.

As Noaani said, the AA increase the deagro proc:

Converge (without any AAs): 8% less aggro generation + 1734 - 2890 deagro proc 6.0/minute

Converge (with 5 AAs spent): 8% less aggro generation + 2081 - 3468 deagro proc 6.0/minute (20% more)

Personally, I think I'll skip spending points on the Converge AA (and definitely on the Intelligence line) until I have serious reason to do so -- i.e. peeling aggro regardless of how well I manage my DPS.

Now, if the Shadow AA not only increased the deagro amount of the proc, but also increased the proc rate by 20%... that would be a different story altogether.

D.

Yeah, I don't think we are going to need to spend any AAs in dehate at all.

If you look over things like hate transfers, hate feeds and hate increasers and decreasers, then the situation looks bad for a wizard. When you look at the changes made to tanks though, it starts looking a whole lot better.

In a group with an equally well geared tank, assuming we have an AE tank for AE encounters nad a ST tank for ST encounters, I can't see any way currently for us to be able to pull aggro, except in the first 5 - 8 seconds of combat.

There is still the matter of what to do with Enhance: Converge in the EoF tree though. Its in the power tree for that line, so I wouldn't be supprised to see it changed to a different spell altogether.
