High hits with Execute

<p>The high melee hits have not been update since TSO.  Anyone seen any post on why this is?</p>

<p>I have seen executes over 70k in palace. They are not updating leaderboards. Mine still says 58k+ and I have hit over 64k :/ typical SOE.</p>

<p>I was wondering the same thing, was looking forward to checking out high hits after xpac. Still no word on why this isn't updating?</p>

<p>It would be 1 hit from the assassin.</p><p>Besides, didn't they make it so you can only do a maximum of 50% damage to an opponent in PvP with a single attack? If so, that mage must have had over 22k hp... or he is talking about a long time ago.</p>

<p>(( the 50% 1-hit pvp dmg cap nerf was never truly implemented. It was all smoke and mirrors or heresay.</p><p>either that or its broken.</p><p>I dare you to roll an assassin and try to hit 11k to anything in pvp. Guaranteed you will rarely see it. (and no the mage didnt have 11k hp, more like 4k. (this was shortly before EoF came out, back when best gear was from DT) (that and PVP gear)</p><p>And fabled PVP loots > fabled PVE loots. So killing players > killing mobs <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> PVP ftw.</p>

Confusion is understandable though since people are quick to judge pvp and rarely are even aware of the gameplay differences from PVE.</p><p>dmg in pvp is extremely reduced. Even with full fabled T8 gear, mythical, adornments in every slot.... execute will rarely do over 5k in pvp, 5.5 maybe 6k if you crit and are lucky. (Even in groups or pvp raids with raid buffs, execute doesnt hit too much more than that..</p><p>yes, we all Assassinated things for 10-11k at level 50. my first post was talking about pvp.</p>

<p>Yea I rolled an assassin on Nagafen when PvP and KoS launched. Played for a couple of months and got to mid 50s before getting tired of it. 11k execute on a clothy with 0 mit in pvp. Gratz who cares? ArmA pvp > EQ2 pvp. lulz.</p>

<p>To me the game is challenging enough to beat the high end content.  Some may need the added "dimension" of facing players as well but to me all it adds is more hurdles.</p><p>I've got enough conflict and strife in RL, I play EQ2 to get away from all that.  It's much more rewarding to just find friends to work together toward a common goal without a bunch of emo teenagers trying to mess it up.</p><p>Yeah, PvPers like to look down upon PvEers.  I'll admit it IS more of a challenge.  But I don't care, the game is challenging and rewarding enough as is, as it is for most which is why the vast majority choose PvE.</p><p>Pouncer</p>

<p>I hit 78k with it about 1 week ago...my average is 68 the rest of the time....but of course sony still has not updated highest melee hit on server.</p>
