All I want to do is take a shot at farming some named mobs, but as a 62 Wizzie I'm not sure where I should go for this.

I need practice at it, so I'd kinda like to go for some of the "easier" nameds, if possible. If there aren't really any in this level range, how much longer should I wait, & where should I go?

I don't care as much about loot, though getting some would be nice. I mostly want the AAs. Positive suggestions appreciated!

Nest of The Great Egg

It is challenging but doable at that level with a few named as well.

I would start with Miragules Menagerie, the last name will just be green to you (maybe both of them, but i think one is level 51).

Other than that, Scornfeathers Roost is a zone you will be able to clear with practise, as are the names in Clefts. I wouldn't start with Nest of the Great Egg for another 5 levels or so, assuming you want to leave an empty zone behind, and I would also be prepared to have many deaths in there. Once you have those 5 more levels, you could also start soloing all the names in TT, including the ring event for the deaggro robe.

You could probably have a go at killing the first anmed in Temple of Scale, but you have a few trash mobs to clear first (they do noto see invis, you just need to clear enough to get a good pull on the mob - they social). This zone has 2 more names you can solo as well.

62 is an awkward level, you are a little too high or the content in the original game, a little too low for the content in KoS, and DoF sucks.

I don't know about named mobs, but 62 is a wonderfully easy level to sail through in terms of ordinary content, especially as always for a wizard. Along the way you'll encounter a fair few named Heroics and as a wizard should be able to hold your own against them without the need to drop down a zone or two as many classes must do.

Tenebrous Tangle, Lesser Faydark, Loping Plains and Barren Sky are perfect at that level. I would personally do them in that order, from the early/mid 50's although these days Everfrost can keep you going until pretty well 60 including quite a few named Heroics, and alternating between them with the benefit of your teleports as the mood takes you, while fitting in a bit of Pillars of Flame if you want to although I agree that the DoF areas are pretty poor on the whole. The Isle of Mara also offers some content at that level if you haven't already done it. By 65 of course a wizard has no problems in going to Kylong Plains and the Kunark content generally will keep you occupied until the late 70's although by then you might want to move on to Moors of Ykesha for variety if nothing else. Hence if you don't look at those zones I mentioned by the low 60's the chances are you never will!

Look for my post in that topic to get idea about one of the harder bosses in there (I am not counting last boss, as I was unable to solo him pre-ROK). Other bosses are standard root-nuke routine. Be sure to use hex dolls to debuff them.

You have the Hidden Cache the nameds range from 55-57 but not much drops there, the silent city dungeon is also soloable at that level with several different nameds to kill, the shimmering citadel mobs start at 53, other places that should still have green nameds is Nek castle: the return, mines of meldrath, vaults of dust.
