Since I am not unemployed (RL) and too greedy to make use of the AA-respec-exploit I wasn't able to test the "Tower of Stone" of the shadow tree yet due to an insufficient AA level.

The 30%+ limit seems to reduce its usefullness quite a lot? When you are low on health and the mob(s) strike with up to 29% of your hp..... hmmmm.

Any experiences with that ability yet?

Well it only lasts 10 secs and requires 30% of your hp taken with a melee hit to make it work, so it's only useful when the mobs hit hard. I'm bit dissapointed with this ability, should last 5-10 secs longer and reduce damage required to 20-25%.

It seems to be mostly aimed at scripted encounters where there's a huge infrequent hit that you can time and that you need to block to survive. For normal encounters it's not so useful.

On one hand a percentage requirement might be useful, since it prevents a block to be consumed by a weak hit that isn't that worth to be avoided.

The 10 seconds duration would be sufficient if the percentage requirement would be a bit lower (~20%). A ToS without any requirement is usually consumed within the immediately following seconds, whereas it might take longer until a harder attack pops up.

With a life pool of 15000 (non-raid) the requirement is a damage of 4500, which isn't that common except in the hardest group zones. (?)

I'd vote for removing the requirement at all.

it's a great tool for anyone, even non raiding zerkers. but to get the most out of it you have to know when a mob is expected to do their big attacks.
