Do I need to go to FreePort for more spells?

<p>Having fun questing but have never visited Freeport. I believe all my spells are the ones you get when you level up. Is there a place in Freeport where I can purchase other, new, spells? I don't think there is such a place in Neriak, my home city. <p>I went visit Freeport as a Dark Elf (Neriak) Necro earlier.</p><p>The guards 1 shot me.</p><p>Go to Neriak at the castle for those App II upgrades.  I dunno what other spells ur talking about, there are some spells from expansions/adventure packs but those aren't in Freeport <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

I'm dark elf and live in Neriak. Visit Freeport sometimes and have no problems. What did you do to lose Freeport faction?</p><p>About spells - there are no different spells you can buy in Freeport, apart maybe "fun" spells. But those you can buy from your scriber (spell merchant) in your home city and they are useless anyway.</p>

<p>If you live in Neriak there is no reason Freeport guards should be attacking  you unless you've done something to loose Freeport faction (or Gorowyn for that matter).  Aside from that, all the spells available in Neriak are the saem ones available in Freeport.</p>
