Hello, fellow zerkers. I've returned to EQ2 quite recently after a year off. I'm really impressed with a lot of things that were implemented- guild halls, crafting improvements, a grouping focus with TSO and...

...I also think that these fighter revamps are a great direction for the game.

I understand that in a MMO the subscribers need to have a continuous dialogue with the devs about how the in-game elements are working (or not, whatever the case may be), but I don't think that paying 15.00 a month elevates me above the people who shape the future of this game. Not to step on anyone's toes, but that seems like the attitude I've seen a lot lately.

Berserkers have seen a lot of love this expansion, even if our epic weapon has a nervous twitch. Instead of the "OMG Guardians are teh oober tanks [Removed for Content]" posts of a year or so ago, you see the reverse in the Guardian forums, because tanking fundamentals are changing. Hate generation and management is shifting to the group's responsibility from an individual one, and you can't please everyone. But I encourage everyone, like others have, to wait it out and see what GU51 looks like on the Test server before we cry chicken little.

This is not directed specifically at Zerkers, I just wanted to post here because, as an aspiring raid tank someday in the future, think that these points are best brought up among peers rather than in the general gameplay forum.

Bottom line, I'm thrilled to be along for the ride. And I still have faith in SOE to come through with some great revamps. I tried a lot of MMOs in my year off, and I've seen time and time again that there is an X factor about EQ2 that keeps me coming back. No matter what bugs us about this game, we all have to admit that it's a great product or we wouldn't be playing it.

With these fundamentals changing, the tried and true AA specs are changing too. More opportunities for everyone to better learn their class. And as the game continues to balance, learn to interact more as a group, where this game shines like no other

So lets investigate, experiment, and adapt. Post /feedback when bugs are noticed. And enjoy beating the crap out of everything that moves

Slowburn
