<p> i am having PKT LOSS and i try everythign to get it to work so far, called comcast they came change the cable from outside, gave me a new modem, and i am still having PKT Loss while i am playing i try ping other websites and 0 problem for the love ofgod</p><p>some one help me</p><p>also i play it fine on my old computer with out PKT loss ( very very low FPS but at least no PKT )</p>

<p>Packet loss is a problem with your conenction not your processor. I would post information about your conection as stated in the connection forums.</p>

Hasnt there been some issues with some hops through Comcast? I can't quite remember which ISP it was <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /></p><p>Has the Packet loss only been since you started to use the new Machine? Did you set it up accordingly with Vista?</p>

That information will help us diagnose the problem.</p>

<p>yes the PKT loss has only been happenign with my new computer everytime i try to do the pathign and tracing dosent do it i try Nagafen.everquest2.com.</p><p>i had the comcast people come and it was perfect and it works fine with my old comp i get no pkt loss. the only thign i was thinkign maybe was the vista 64 bit or the I7 core proccersor</p>

<p>Did you do all the requirements for the game with Vista? It takes a few extra steps such as UAC and admin priveledges...</p>

<p>i turn of the UAC and playing as administrator/ the only real problem i am having is pkt lost.</p><p> i get in max settign depends on the zone 40 FPS to about 180. but the PKT loss happens mostly when i am figthing not always but mostly sometiems when i am just walkign around</p>

<p>Tracert? Pathping? </p><p>There may be a hop in the line that is having issues that could cause packet loss... depending on where that hop is, they might be able to isolate the culprit.</p>

Try the following line instead:</p><p>tracert nagafen.everquest2.co.uk</p>
