Not even really sure when it started. The game runs fine for awhile then all of a sudden just goes to this :

By floridasmb at 2008-12-31

You sure? Dont think it is a prob with profit UI? Because every glitch is a profit UI piece if you are familiar with it.

That sure looks like a video card about to kick the bucket

I had a similar issue and it turned out my video card was acting up. It had two plug ins for power and only one was plugged in. After we took care of that, it went bye bye.

Was kinda cool though. it made letters show up in walls and all sorts of icons from my hot bars show up in my hair!

Okay, I don't want to dispute what others are saying, yet I work in support for computers and having just had a BFG crash on me and sending it in for another I can relate to a video card crash.

Looking carefully at your screenshot, I can tell it is not your videocard about to die, if it were then you would see "explosions" in the landscape, like the mesh is collapsing in upon itself and the textures running together with destinct lines spreading through the screen.

What I'm seeing look at the screenshot is the UI crapping out, I would load the default UI for EQ2 and run it for a bit and see how it does. If it runs fine then you know it's the Profit UI, if it doesn't post another screenshot of what it's doing please.

A more accurate response. A vid card that is about to kick the proverbial bucket would produce artifacts in places other than just the UI.

Unless your graphics card is super smart and doesnt like your UI and just decides that it is only going to frack that up and nothing else.

Definitely looks like a video card issue to me.

You can try reinstalling your UI to see if it resolves the situation though.

I uninstalled Profit UI and then reinstalled it and it now works perfectly.

I didn't think it was the video card looking at the screenshot. I've seen my share of vid's dying in games and it just didn't look like it to me, glad it wasn't!

If you ever need anything in the future, advice etc, just send me a message on here I'll be glad to point ya in the right direction.
