We are farming Tomb of the Mad Crusder for patterns -- We killed Senior Loyalist Tilas a couple days ago. The forearm pattern that dropped was for dirge/necro/berserker/inquistor. We had one dirge in raid, and none of the other classes. The dirge already had the TSO fabled bracers. We were able to get an alt zerker in, but this shouldn't have happened.

I petitioned it and got this response:

------------------------------------------

Greetings Rythalian,This is GM Roser from Sony Online Entertainment.
When did anyone say TSO patterns were on smart loot?

Nobody posted that it was, but after they switched the patterns in EoF, then smartloot patterns in RoK, well ya know, it would make sense to continue that trend.

They put EoF smart loot in for fabled set pieces a little over half way through EoF.

RoK was also around half way through the expansion.

Your right, it would make sense for them to continue the trend.

At least we aren't the only ones getting more of those Dirge/Zerker patterns than we know what to do with.

As far as I can tell they are all still relaxing after the expansion cram o thon. But i think a 2 month break should be enough to get a live update...

Still should be smart loot starting out kind of kills the joy of beating a mob when somone has to bring their lvl 75 alt that never raids to come get the loot so it doesnt rot.

You can wish all you want, but they won't do Smart Loot until probably May 2009. This is just their habit. Make it artificially difficult to get set pieces so the raid guilds have to raid at least halfway through 2009. Then they put in Smart Loot so the stragglers can get their pieces.
