Gday

Has anyone seen either the Sppon or Rolling Pin drop in TS instances when you are running them solo?

May just be the way the RNG is treating me, but I primarily solo these TS instances (frequently so far), and have only seen the Earrings drop when grouped with other people.

Likely extrapolating too far, but if earrings may be restricted to groups - perhaps the Pin/Spoon are as well?

If so.... no more soloing for me

Cheers

I got the Pin on my first TS instance (lucky me!) I was, however, grouped with 1 other person. I have done 2 instances solo since and got jewelery both times, and book IV once.

I've only ever seen one rolling pin drop and that was in a group. Then again, I've only seen 1 Recipe Book 3 drop and that was in a group instance and these definately drop solo.

My gut feel is that the loot RNG doesn't care how many people are in the zone, it's all just random.

I got my Deadly Mixing Spoon on the first or second instance that I did, but it was with two other people. I've received a recipe book and a piece of jewelry solo, and I've received just the jewelry in a group of two. The most I've seen drop was 3 items (book, jewelry, and token) and that was in a group of four.

Unless specific ones are intended and publicly known that way, I think the idea of mobs & instances dropping different loot for solo vs group is a myth, same for the TS instance. I've soloed & grouped it dozens of times now (though none since FF started and not till it ends) and no spoon or rolling pin.

On a slightly related note, can the Spoon also be mounted and turned into a furniture item like the rolling pin can? My provisioner friend would like to add that to her kitchen if she can.

Run #16 overall before I saw my first rolling pin, and it happened to be solo.

I have run maybe 15 instances total, I have seen both the rolling pin and the spoon drop, both times in group. The main difference I've seen between group and solo, is that you seem to get more in the chest when you have a group of 3-4+.

Soloing, I usually end up with a piece of jewelry or a book, with the occaisional rare added in.

I reckon ive done over 30 instances, no luck on spoon or pin

Kinda makes sense given the other possible drops given that I usually get an avg of 2 items per chest

27 jewelery items

4 recipes

tokens

3 earrings

rares..

I've been with a trio and gotten 1 item in the chest. It's completely random.
