Where be the masters precious!

<p>Hello,</p><p>Fairly active wizard in a non HC guild.   We raid about 3 times a week, and are currently in VP trying to get mythicals.   I have a fairly good toon, with nice gear.   I also do decent DPS for our guild standard.</p><p>Gearing is coming along nicely, the biggest issue I seem to have is lack of any appreciable masters.  Done plenty of instances, groups, RE2s,  T8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 zones, SOH countless times.</p><p>I have about 10 masters already however... none of the ones that are nukes (apart from rays)</p><p>Any tricks I am missing out?  Any zones I need to perma grind? Any hints appreciated.</p><p><strong>Masters top of my list:</strong></p><p>Bolt of IceBall of MagmaHeatwave</p><p>These 3 spells along with solar flare (Master II ability) account for about 60% of my total DPS output.</p><p>Nims</p>

<p>They definetly don't and wont ever make up 60% of your dps, those spells alone.  Prolly more like 10 - 19%  from boi and magma (each) and 2 - 6% from solar flare.  Mine usually hang 2 - 3% though.  On track though with spell potency.  Even with new AA though I still use Magma Chamber m2 simply because I hit it way more often in my rotation.</p><p>Theres no trick to masters really now, they drop masters of all t8 range from any name now it seems, so if your killing names and getting metal chests, thats the best you can really do.  That and hawk the broker because lots of times when I got the rare masters it was at odd hours of the night or stuff that would have gotten bought up pretty fast.  You can miss the broker for an hour and lose out on a good master hehe, Good luck.</p>

<p>Masters are a delusion. They do not exist, except on the broker. Where they will be ridiculously over priced, because people think that only farmers play wizards.</p><p>Not bitter or frustrated. Not at all.</p><p>Anyone got 400 plat I can borrow to buy BoI?</p>

I have a total of 16 master, not including my Master II and the rest came from guildies or by constantly check the broker for deals. <p>You are SO lucky.</p><p>I'm on Splitpaw. My guild raids T8, VP included, 3 times a week. I <strong>never saw a good wizard spell dropping</strong>. One day I could auction Bolt of Ice for almost 200 PPs (only time i saw it being sold) NEVER saw fission. I saw Flame of velious for 400 pps (no way).</p><p>Others are less rare, I could get a lot from some guildies, and baught others (Ray : 33 pps, cheap.. for our server)</p><p>edit : today prices, without commision :</p><p>electr. Storm 150 or 180</p><p>BOM 180</p><p>Storming tempest 200</p><p>solar flare 250</p><p>BOI 400</p><p>Flame of velious 600 (has been at that price for one month...)</p>

<p>Yeah, the two I still really want are Storming Tempest and Flame of Velious. I have never seen Flame of Velious for sale and there is a uber raiding Wizard that spams for it at least a couple times a night. Storming Tempest I have seen once on my server and it was selling for 95pp and I didn't have it at the time.</p>

<p>congratulations...</p><p>TSO legendary is also good if you can get enough shards. </p><p>I'm still wondering where those stupid M1 are...</p><p>on my server the price of the "flame of velious" M1 went down to 500 pps, but still no way to pay it that price !</p>

<p>Well,  while the Wizzard masters are rare, i had a little (Proly beginners luck) i got Solar Wind Master I on my first real T8 raid. (From the PR in Sebilis)</p>
