<p>I seem to remember a long time ago, you could scribe recipes higher lvl than you.. can we still do that? I can only scribe even lvled recipes.. i used to like doing yellow and orange colored recipes.. hard ones</p>

<p>You can only scribe recipe books which are at or below your level. If you examine the book it will tell you what level it is.</p><p>Generally these books contain recipes which are at or below the level of the book itself, which is pretty much as you'd expect <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>However, it is possible to have recipes in the books that are higher levels that the actual level of the book. For example a level 79 book could contain a level 80 recipe.</p><p>So yes, it is possible to get yellow/orange recipes but these are pretty much for special quest related items.</p><p>For 99% of the recipes they will be white/blue/green/grey recipes from your standard/advanced books.</p>

<p>I wish more books would have recipes above the minimum level or skill (i.e. transmuting and tinkering) to scribe them. For most of the classes, it's mostly only the artisan books and a scant few specialty books (like special event recipes) which have higher con recipes.</p><p>I find it fun to have a challenge to making things from time to time (and not just or only through cross crafting but with my -own- class skills).</p>

That was 'fixed.'</p>
