I am getting this error everytime I log in today, no matter which character I try. I have never had a login error before, and now I can't play at all.

I'm curious about the text in the prompt, as it references the E: drive. My EQ2 directory is in my D drive and E is my DVD drive with no discs in it. As you can see, I was in my house when I logged out, I just bought it and there was no rent due(if that has anything to do with it). I have other characters in different areas, but I get the same error with anyone I log in with. Nothing has changed in my computer in the last 24 hrs and was just reformatted about 2 weeks ago (yes, I have all up to date drivers,etc.). Thanks in advance for any help.

Update: I can get in and play if I bypass the default launcher with the Everquest2.exe. After reading some other posts, it seems that there is a problem with the launcher.

The 'E drive' that error message is referring to is on our servers, not your computer. As a first step you might want to delete the 'Cache' folder out of your Everquest 2 directory. The default location for that is listed below:

C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II

Please let us know if that doesn't correct the issue.

I deleted the cache and still got the error. I then temporarily moved the logincache-us folder and tried again, just to get the error. I can log in with no prob's on my gf's computer, just FYI.
